In his wide experience he has represented the Union of India, State of Tamil Nadu and large private corporations. Rajasekaran is a patent and trademark attorney having over twenty years experience in Intellectual Property Rights administration, prosecution and enforcement. He is a Mechanical Engineer, has a Masters in Business Administration, both from the University of Madras. He did his LL.B from Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai, and LL.M specializing in Business Law from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru with two gold medals. He began his career as an Examiner of Patents at the Indian Patent Office, Government of India before setting up his own IPR practice. He has published widely cited articles on IPR law in leading journals. He also teaches Intellectual Property at Universities. He is admitted to practice in all courts in India.

Johnson Neil, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 32 years' experience, specializes in construction projects in the UAE. His qualifications include Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying from India, and further studies in the UK. Johnson is a Fellow of prestigious institutions worldwide. He excels in pre and post-contract quantity surveying, tendering, and contractual matters, with expertise in feasibility studies, cost management, and dispute resolution. Leading a Dubai-based practice since 2008, he serves esteemed clients and conducts corporate training on commercial and contractual topics. Johnson Neil is dedicated to professional excellence and ethical practice, ensuring quality and integrity in every project.

Safila is a Registered Indian Patent Agent. She is an Information Technology engineering graduate from Mahatma Gandhi University and an MBA from Madras University. She was a software programmer in a large multinational software company before becoming patent agent. She also teaches Patent drafting in her free time. He experiences includes writing software programmes for a large software company which helps her to write patent specifications for computer related inventions and defend the invention before the Patent Office and other tribunals.

Harishma is an Electronics and Communications engineer; an advocate, enrolled with the Bar council of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry; a Registered Indian Patent agent. She has more than 7 years experience in Patent and Trademark prosecutions and practices.

Sathish has over 20 years of practice in Intellectual Property Rights, Mr. Sathish is an expert at Trademark and Copyright laws having a strong focus on Trademark prosecution, copyright registration, enforcement, intellectual property based agreements including assignments, licensing and registered user agreements. He is an Advocate enrolled at the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Having worked at a Law Firm and as an in-house counsel, he efficiently identifies client requirement and addresses them finesse and ease.

Kannan is a Registered Indian Patent Agent(IN/PA-3724), having more than 15 years of experience in the field of IPR. By qualification, Kannan is an M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Organic chemistry and has completed a Diploma in Intellectual Property law from the School of Law, IGNOU, India. He is well-versed in assisting companies with freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability analyses, novelty searches, and due diligence. In addition, he has experience in the prosecution of major foreign countries and has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting applications for multinational companies in the USA, Europe, India and Japan.

Janani holds dual degrees in Engineering and Law, bringing together technical acumen and legal expertise. Prior to her legal career, she worked as a Senior Engineer at Infosys and has a strong inclination towards Intellectual Property Rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs. She has significant expertise in drafting high-value contracts from her tenure at Zoho Corporation. Janani has also worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and possesses subject-matter knowledge in International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Cyber Law, and Naval Warfare.

Kavipriya is a qualified Engineering professional and Registered Indian Patent Agent (IN/PA 3065) with over five years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Kavipriya has worked across diverse technical fields including Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, Biomedical Devices, Software, and Instrumentation. She specializes in patent drafting, prior art searches, patent prosecution, and IP filings including copyrights, designs, and trademarks. She actively contributes to fostering IPR awareness through workshops and training programs.

Ms. V. Gayathri, Senior IP Associate, holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and has strong expertise in Intellectual Property Management. She is experienced in filings, client communications, docketing, and database management. Known for her proactive and organized approach, she ensures accuracy and efficiency in every task. Her professional skills reflect a blend of dedication, precision, and attention to detail in the IP domain.

Padma is a Certified Indian Patent Agent with than 15 years experience in drafting and processing patent applications. Padma holds a has a Masters degree in Biochemistry and also a Master of Technology in Medical Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology –Madras (IIT-M).

Vijayaraghavan is an advocate practicing at the Madras High Court with over 15 years of experience. He served as counsel for significant entities such as CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) and Southern Railways. Beyond his legal practice, K. Vijayaraghavan is also actively involved in the legal academic community. He frequently lectures on various branches of law at well-established law academies. Mohammed Ashish , holds a Master’s degree in Law from the prestigious Government Law College, specializing in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Administration. Known for his analytical rigor and legal reasoning, Mohammed Ashish blends academic expertise with practical insight, making him well-suited for both advisory and litigation roles. His experience span due process, rights of the accused, policing, prison reform, and the intersection of law and public policy.

After completing her Bachelor’s in Sociology from MOP Vaishnav College (Affiliated to Madras University), Abinaya went on to graduate Law (LLB) from OP Jindal Global Law University. She was awarded with Savitri Jindal Scholarship by Jindal Global Law School. Her areas of interest in law include Traditional Knowledge and Intellectual Property, and Human Rights Law. Currently, at SV&R she works in the Intellectual Property team, specialising in Design Law.

Sathiya has degrees in Engineering (Computer Science) and law. He worked with a private firms and the office of the special government pleaders before joining SV&R.  He is presently handling film agreements and copyright matters in our Media and entertainment team.

Mr. Saranraj R is an experienced professional with strong expertise in office administration, documentation, and secretarial support. He has worked across reputed Leading Indian Technical Institutions and firms, gaining exposure in procurement, filing systems, Intellectual Property, and case management. His skills span across Bill Processing, Database Management, Client Communications and Event coordination. With academic qualifications in Commerce, Operations Management, and Psychology, he brings a well-rounded approach to organizational efficiency.

Triambakeshwar is a versatile practicing advocate with a year of experience, excelling in a wide range of legal matters including criminal, civil, and family law. He is also adept at handling tax matters, and his expertise includes preparing legal opinions.

Aarthy holds an M.Tech degree in Biotechnology from P.S.G Coimbatore with 7.3CGP, B.Pharm from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai. Before joining SV&R Partners she was a subject matter expert with Tata Consultancy Services. She works on pharmaceutical and bio-technology patents.
